Suspect wanted by authorities after woman’s body found in woods near Livingston

POLK COUNTY, Texas – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community to be on the lookout for a wanted murder suspect.

The sheriff’s office says 23-year-old De’Andre Wright, of Livingston, is currently wanted in connection with the murder of Jasmine Muldoon.

Muldoon’s body was found Monday afternoon in a wooded area off US 59 a few miles north of Livingston. She had been reported missing on Sunday. The sheriff’s office says her body was taken to the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office, for investigation and to determine the cause of death.

A first-degree felony murder warrant was issued for Wright and authorities are asking the public for help locating him.

The sheriff’s office asks anyone who sees Wright to not approach him and to contact law enforcement right away.
