Highway 30 bridge over Navasota River in Grimes County reopens

GRIMES COUNTY, Texas – A bridge on a highway connecting College Station to Huntsville has been reopened after it was closed Sunday.

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office said the Highway 30 bridge over the Navasota River reopened Monday after flooding caused them to shut it down Sunday.

The highway connects College Station with Huntsville and runs through small communities in Grimes County such as Roans Prairie and Shiro.
